![]() ![]() So, thanks Runner Duck, for throwing us glutens for punishment a bone. I really feel outgunned and outclassed in every engagement now, and it's exactly what I felt was missing from my first playthrough. For me, it's really captured the asymmetric warfare feel of Bomber Crew. I've had two more incredibly close calls where I managed to scrape by just by the skin of my teeth. And grinding missions to build my ship and crew up again has been just as rough. Within the first 10 or so missions, I'd lost my first ship, along with 5 of the 7 members of my crew. Engagements started becoming desperate struggles for survival. And mind you, was before I even did the first priority mission. Before long, I started getting some mid and late-game enemies mixed in. But, after a few missions, I started noticing that waves were starting to get alarmingly big, and I was getting a lot less time between them. Heres hoping someone posts a video because when I did (or tried to do) what you describe I think I saw one sole. I tried looking for a YT video of this in action but just found Lets Plays without a particular mention. And at first, I barely noticed a difference. you rotate your camera so you can see the symbols on the back, then type those in. So when I saw that they were releasing some new difficulty modifiers, I figured I'd give it another shot, this time with the expanded crew and panic stations, just to see how things evened out. The whole game, I had maybe a handful of close shaves, and lost exactly 1 crew member. I even started taking the "fastest route" every single mission, just to give the poor Phasmids any semblance of a chance. And as the game progressed, it got easier and easier to keep them from going down, until, by the end of the game, my ship felt almost completely indestructible. Since pieces of the ship don't break off when badly damaged, like they did in Bomber Crew, you could pretty much survive anything, so long as the crew didn't start going down. I had already completed the campaign before the update came out, and to be honest, I was a bit disappointed. I've got to say, I am quite pleased with how this turned out. ![]()
